1. Scope
These Terms of Sale govern all orders placed on aubryne.com and aubryne.fr (the “Site”) between Philippe REYNAUD, sole proprietor trading as AUBRYNE, SIREN 837 550 201 (“Aubryne”, “we”, “us”) and any person placing an order (the “Customer”, “you”). Aubryne’s company details are listed in our Legal Notice. You can reach us at any time at contact@aubryne.com or through our Contact page.
By placing an order, you accept these Terms of Sale in full. The version that applies is the one online on the date of your order. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
2. Products
Aubryne offers a curated selection of furniture, lighting and home décor. The essential features of each product (materials, colors, dimensions, weight, delivery time) are described on its product page. Photos are as accurate as possible; slight variations in color or appearance may occur due to screen settings or natural materials (wood, rattan, stone, fabric). Dimensions are given within a tolerance of a few centimeters.
Products are offered while stocks last. An unavailable product is marked “Sold out”. If an ordered product turns out to be unavailable, we will inform you by email without delay and refund you in full within 14 days, unless you prefer an equivalent product. Some products are delivered flat-packed and require simple assembly; this is stated on the product page where applicable.
3. Prices
On aubryne.com, prices are shown in U.S. dollars (USD); on aubryne.fr, in euros (VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code). Shipping costs are shown before you confirm your order. Import duties are included in our prices: you will have nothing to pay upon delivery. Any sales tax that may apply is calculated and displayed at checkout. Where a crossed-out reference price is shown, it corresponds to the lowest price charged by Aubryne for that product in the 30 days before the discount. The price charged is the one in effect when you confirm your order.
4. Discount codes and offers
Discount codes (such as the welcome code offered when you sign up for our newsletter) and special offers (flash sales, seasonal sales, tiered discounts) apply under the conditions and for the duration stated when they are published. Unless stated otherwise, only one discount code can be used per order; codes cannot be combined with each other but can be combined with free shipping. Codes have no cash value and may be limited in number of uses.
5. Orders
Select your products and options, add them to your cart, then enter your contact details, shipping address and payment method. Before confirming, you can review your order and total price and correct any errors. Your order is final when you click the final payment button, which entails an obligation to pay. You will then receive an order confirmation by email. Aubryne may cancel or refuse any order in case of suspected fraud or an unresolved payment dispute on a previous order.
6. Payment
Payment is due in full when you order. Depending on the options offered at checkout, you can pay by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, or in installments with Klarna (subject to Klarna’s approval and terms). All payments are secure and processed by certified providers; Aubryne never has access to your full card details. Aubryne retains ownership of the products until full payment has been received.
7. Shipping
United States: free standard shipping on orders of $449 or more; below that, shipping costs range from $9.99 to $69.99 depending on your order. France: free standard shipping from €399; below that, from €8.99 to €59.99. Other destinations: calculated at checkout based on your address. Shipping costs are always shown before you confirm your order.
Delivery times are shown on each product page and in your cart. For the United States: small items (lighting, tabletop mirrors, jewelry boxes, accessories, small seating) are delivered in 3–7 business days, furniture and large pieces in 2–4 weeks. During busy periods (Black Friday, holidays), times may be extended by 1–2 weeks. Orders with several items may arrive in separate shipments.
Please check your package in the presence of the carrier and note any damage on the delivery slip, then contact us with a few photos. Risk passes to you when you, or a person you designate, take physical possession of the products. Full details are on our Shipping page.
8. Returns and right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from receipt of your order (or of the last package, for split shipments) to change your mind, without giving any reason. To do so, use our online withdrawal form — you will receive an acknowledgment by email without delay — or email us at contact@aubryne.com.
Return the products within 14 days of notifying us, complete and in resalable condition, carefully packed, to the address we provide. Return shipping costs are your responsibility; for large furniture, which cannot normally be returned by regular mail, the return is handled by freight carrier and the cost is communicated to you before anything ships. We refund all amounts paid, including original standard shipping costs, within 14 days of being informed of your decision; we may withhold the refund until we receive the products or proof of shipment. 9. Warranties
Our products are covered by all warranties provided by applicable law. If a product arrives damaged, is defective or does not match your order, contact us at contact@aubryne.com with your order number and photos: we will repair or replace it or refund you, and we cover the return costs. Customers in the European Union benefit from the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity (French Consumer Code, articles L.217-1 et seq.) and from the legal guarantee against hidden defects (French Civil Code, articles 1641 et seq.), as detailed in the French version of these terms.
10. Liability
Aubryne is responsible for the proper performance of your order, except where non-performance is due to the Customer, to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party, or to force majeure. Products must be used and maintained according to their intended purpose and the instructions provided (in particular, for lighting, the voltage and bulb type indicated).
11. Personal data
Your data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy, which explains your rights and how to exercise them.
12. Intellectual property
The Aubryne brand, logo, texts, photos, visuals and all content on the Site are protected. Any reproduction or use without Aubryne’s prior written consent is prohibited.
13. Customer service and disputes
For any question or complaint, contact us at contact@aubryne.com. We will always look for an amicable solution first. Consumers residing in the European Union may also refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator listed in our Legal Notice, within one year of their written complaint.
14. Governing law
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Failing an amicable resolution, disputes will be brought before the competent courts as provided by law.
